Well I'm all done with the wedding invitations, so it's time to tackle some other projects that are coming up. Firstly, one of my besties has a birthday in March.
Since she's partly Irish, it only makes sense to have an Irishy birthday card.
This is a 5 x 7 inch card. I used my Fiskar's boarder punch to make the edge stand out. The brown piece is 2 x 7 inches that has been embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. The shamrock and it's shadow were cut from Designer's Calendar at 3 inches. I put a 5 x 7 mat on the inside to make the boarder stand out as well. The sentiment was printed from my computer and matted on the same brown paper to make it pop. Both the shamrock and sentiment are on 3D dots to add dimension.
The outside says, "You don't need Irish luck..." and the inside says, "To tell you that you sham-ROCK". Because she does!! I downloaded the font from Da Font. It's called YY Unical Most Irish and I think it fits perfectly.
I will be traveling for work this week so I won't have much time to craft. I'll be back next week with some more things I need to get done. Babies, babies, and stationary.
Stay crafty!!
