Momo's Tuesday Challenge

Happy Friday Everyone!!

I spent some time down in my craftroom catching up on some projects. My first project was for Momo's Tuesday challenge. This week's challenge was to use black, white, and hot pink with at least one heart.

* Standard A2 sized card (4.25" x 5.5")
* Pattern paper is from Micheal's (clearance) and is cut at 4" x 5"
* Cupid is cut from the Sweethearts cartridge at 3"
* Sentiment is a rub-on I've had FOREVER!!
* Rhinestone heart is from Oriental Trading.

I know the photo looks a bit red, but I promise it is bright pink. I really need some new lights in my basement. I hope you like the card. I'm going to give it to my very special Valentine.

I also made another page for the wedding album that I've been working. Check it out over here.

Fairy Princess

This week's Tuesday Challenge over at Made by Momo was to make something "Princess". I had a hard time finding something to do for this card. I don't actually own a cartridge (or at least I didn't think I did) that has anything princess on it. I found this ballerina on the Playtime cartridge.

I bought the ribbon a few weeks ago at Michael's on clearance for $0.50. It has little crowns on it if you can't see in the picture. Here's the rest of the details on the card.

Princess was cut at 2 1/2
Polka Dot mat was cut at 4 1/8 by 5 1/8
Pink mat was cut at 4 1/4 by 2 1/2, then punched with a Fiskar's border punch (I finally figured out how to use that thing...not as easy as you would think)

I have to admit, I'm not super happy about how the cuts on this playtime cartridge layer. Maybe I'm the only who thinks it's a little weird. ::Shrugs:: Any who, until next time.
