Hey there blogiverse! Sorry I've been MIA (that's becoming a trend). Many, many things have been going on, but I promise I'll be getting back to regular posting soon.
For now, I just wanted to let you now that I'm co-sponsoring a day crop in Cheltenham, PA on April 5th. The cost is only $35. This is a fundraiser for the Presentation BVM School. All monies will be donated to the school.
For more information please see the flyer below or go to Meetup.com to sign up.

October Weekend Retreat
Just wanted to pop in to remind my wonderful followers that I will be co-hosting a weekend crop here locally in Wilmington, DE. It's 3 full days of crafting with an onsite store (Escape Scrapbooking) and me with my Close to my Heart items.
We are advertising in two places. The first is on Facebook and the second is on Meetup. Our account on Meetup allows you to pay the deposit to secure your space. Spaces are limited and there is a block of hotel rooms just for us.
We'll be at the DoubleTree Hotel, 4727 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803. Cropping starts Friday at 2pm and ends Sunday at 3pm. Come join us!!

Scrap That Saturday
I spent the day over at Scrap That, a local scrapbooking store that has crops every weekend. Have I mentioned how much I love this place? Not only do they carry great products at great prices, they give you another 25% off for attending the crop. Totally awesome right?
Well today wasn't as crowded as it normally is:

My scrappy buddies, Mary and Valerie, were there so that made up for the emptiness. I managed to get 3 layouts done. I helped Valerie with her paper bag albums and to cover some chipboard. We also helped some new girls learn the cricut. A random customer came in and was buying stuff to make a card. Mary brought her over to me and asked if I would make her one. So I did!

I also gave her my card, in case she ever needs anything. ;-) I've listed this card on Etsy, just because it's so darn cute!
Here are my layouts that I completed:

I fixed the title on this one after I snapped the photo :-D

Crop is Done and I'm spent
Good evening everyone,
Just wanted to check in after my all day crop (I bet some of those ladies are still there). This morning I went to my first ever crop at Scrap That in Burlington, NJ. Let me begin by saying this store is AWESOME! I was greeted by some of the nicest ladies I've met in a while. Everyone was so welcoming and ready to embrace this newbie. Those ladies travel hard. They had stands, racks, holders for the ATGs, Ott Lights, and just about everything in my entire scrap cave. I felt a little embarrassed that everything I brought fit into a blue IKEA bag. :0)
It took me a bit to get started, but from that point on and I was on a roll. I finished eight (8) pages today. That's the most pages I've done in months. I'm glad I decided to stick to just working on the wedding album. There was so much stuff in the store that I could have easily bought up. But since I just bought some paper, I held off.
I will post some of the completed pages tomorrow, since I didn't take any photos. Until then it's back to my duties as a Crafting Pal over at http://www.amberscraftsandstuff.com/
